The output $Y$ for the given inputs $A$ and $B$ to the circuit is:

Input waveforms: A is 0 from 0 to 1 s and 1 from 1 s to 3 s; B is 1 from 0 to 2 s, 0 from 2 s to 3 s, then 1 again. Circuit: one AND gate takes A and B, a second AND gate takes B and the inverted A; both feed an OR gate whose output is Y

Solution

Read the circuit. The upper AND gate receives $A$ and $B$ ; the lower one receives $B$ and $A$ through an inverting bubble. So

$Y = A\cdot B + \bar A \cdot B = B(A + \bar A) = B.$

The output simply copies $B$ .

Read the waveform of $B$ . $B = 1$ from $0$ to $2$ s, $0$ from $2$ to $3$ s, and $1$ again after $3$ s. Checking interval by interval:
